*Tauranga, New Zealand - July 31st, 2009* - EOL (Enternet Online Ltd), a pioneer and leading provider of carrier-class broadband wireless networks, today announced that it is building a new superfast wireless Internet service in the Bay of Plenty.
EOL's CEO Terry Coles says "Complimenting our successful MESH service, our new Wideband network can operate in either licenced or unlicenced bands and delivers blistering speeds up to 300mbps". It also allows us to service areas that are NLOS (non-Line of Sight) through the use of advanced Wimax Technology and Multi Sector Antenna Design based on WiMAX".
"EOL's Wideband provides a huge technological leap to deliver fast ethernet data and voice at ultra long ranges to Corporate Offices and Enterprise Branches" says Mr Coles. "We're aiming this service at the most demanding heavy data users that require the very highest level of reliability and security for their sensitive data" says My Coles. "Security features include full speed over-the-air encryption (AES128 and proprietary), storm/flood and password protection" he adds.

EOL's primary backbone circuits are in the process of being upgraded to Wideband. From September 09 Wideband customer links will also be available, with several already booked for installation. |
