NOTE: This test shows you the available bandwidth on your connection
These speeds may be less accurate if:
1) You are connecting to your router or firewall via wireless (WiFi) and not with a cable.
2) You are downloading other files, videos, pictures or email at the the same time.
3) You are running other software or have other webpages or tabs open while performing this test.
4) The computer running the test is older than 3 years or is under-resourced.
5) More than one computer or device uses that same internet connection as you.
6) Your machine has not been restarted recently.
We also recommend testing to 1 or more of the other speedtest.net servers listed on the right.
Testing to these other servers will give you an indication of your connection speed to other servers within New Zealand.
